Coal is a solid,
brittle, combustible rock formed from the
decomposition of vegetation and other organic matter
through compaction, temperature and pressure. The
earliest recognized use of coal was from the Shenyang
area 4000BC where Neolothic inhabitants had begun
carving ornaments from black lignite.
Today, coal was primarily used as a solid fuel to
produce electricity and heat through combustion.
Approximately 40% of the world electricity production
dependent on coal.
The usage of coal has significantly contributed to the
developments and growth of nations and societies. Our
company, intends to take this to higher and
comfortable level by taking into consideration the
environmental issues hence COAL is our business and
COAL is our passion.
PROCESS OF MINING
EXPLORATION & DEVELOPMENT
Locating and determining the most appropriate
methodology to extract the mineral. Outcrop survey,
channel sampling, boring and coring works is done to
design the mining pit. Once the topsoil has been
removed, mining can commence.
MINING
Surface mining is used to produce most of the coal in
this region because it is less expensive than
underground mining. Surface mining can be used when
coal buried less than 200 meters underground.
PROCESSING
After coal comes out of the ground, it is hauled by
trucks to an stockpile area that is located at the
jetty. The coal is crushed and sized to the
requirement of our valued clients.
LOADING & TRANSPORTATION
Most coal are transported by trucks from the mining
area to the stockpile area near the jetty. After the
coal has been crushed, it is loaded into a barge then
from barge to mother vessels.
REHABILITATION
Mine site rehabilitation or reclamation is important
to environmental sustainability. Rehabilitation
involves returning the land to its natural state post
mining through strict, well researched of natural
ecosystems. It has inspired us in planting of palm oil
trees or jatropas plant.
Refined, Bleached & Deodorised (RBD) Palm Oil.
